The Opportunity:
The Customer Solutions Group is searching for a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our US team as a Lead Technical Consultant. The Lead Technical Consultant applies business & technical skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze information to design, configure, and implement OpenText solutions based on unique customer requirements. This position is focused on Enterprise accounts, emphasizing the OpenText Enterprise Content Management product line.

In this role, you will work closely with other Customer Solutions Group Consultants and customers in the delivery of OpenText engagements, as well as with Account Executives, Solution Consultants and strategic partners throughout the sales and delivery cycles.

•Delivering Professional Services engagements with confidence and high quality
•Demonstrating technical leadership with content management software
•Effectively communicating through strong written and verbal communication skills
•Understanding and translating customer business requirements into a solution that best utilizes OpenText product functionality.
•Analyze user requirements
•Leading and/or contributing to the development of a solution design and strategic deployment roadmap
•Work as part of a solution development team
•Writing code per application specifications and test to ensure designs comply with specifications
•Debugging and resolving technical issues
•Contributing to project documentation, including but not limited to the requirements document, technical design, test plans, and knowledge transfer documentation
•Participating in multiple projects simultaneously
•Delivering presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations to a mixed audience of technical, business, and management staff
•Demonstrating strong customer facing skills by building and maintaining positive customer relationships and translating them into long-term benefits for both companies 
•Mentoring junior consultants on solutions, technology, and delivery of OpenText Content projects.
•Preparing, maintaining, and submitting weekly activity/progress reports and time recording reports by published procedures
•Interacting with sales, services, and partners to scope project efforts, create estimates, and respond to RFPs
•Adhering to OpenText’s internal standards and best practices for consistent, high-quality project delivery
What it takes:
•The candidate should have 8 years of professional consulting experience implementing medium to complex solutions
•Highly professional team player with the ability to work independently while being part of a dynamic team
•Competency with OpenText Documentum and/or OpenText Content Suite   
•Working in multi-tiered architecture (presentation, application, and database)
•Knowledge of web servers and application servers
•Knowledge and understanding of on-premises and cloud enterprise software deployments
•A solid grasp of various technologies that include development languages, tools, and web-based technology that could be involved in an OpenText solution
•Competency with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Angular is a plus
•Competency in Java and .Net technologies, Client and Server-Side Development, REST, and JSON is a plus
•Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
•Continually engage in professional development
•Travel is a requirement of this position
•This is a revenue-generating position
