The Opportunity:


We are hiring for the team that brings you the OpenText Alloy platform, the world’s largest and most scalable information network that the Fortune 1000 relies on daily!   We are looking for passionate developers who are ambitious, creative, and driven to work on challenging problems and develop innovative solutions.


As a Senior Software Developer, you will be a key contributor to OpenText Alloy working on various micro-services that drives the platform.  You will work as part of a collaborative Agile team of skilled engineers dedicated to innovation, quality and getting stuff done.  You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies in a fast-paced environment that will help shape the future of OpenText Alloy.

What It Takes:


  • Five or more years of experience in software design and development in Java and JavaScript with some experience or a desire to engage with others in application architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or another related discipline
  • Demonstrated critical thinking
  • Service/server development skills using Java: including Tomcat, Kubernetes, Docker, Camel, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Akka, Kafka, HazelCast, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Quartz, micro-services.
  • Experience with development lifecycle, relational databases, networking, operating platform(s), and more than one programming language
  • The ability to generate accurate work estimates, perform system maintenance and author technical documentation
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
