VP, Operations – Global Technical Support 

Reporting to the VP, Global Tech Support, the VP, Operations is responsible for driving operational efficiency and operational effectiveness to support growth by doing things right in a scalable, repeatable manner.  The role will focus on establishing and building a scalable team and true business partner model for the VP and support leadership team. This role requires operational expertise, a customer focus, transformational leadership, ability to manage complex projects, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive customer satisfaction.


The Opportunity:


  • As critical member of the Global Technical Support Leadership team supporting and building the long-term strategic roadmap for the organization focusing on driving growth, standardized reporting and analytics, enablement, customer communication, digital transformation & innovation.  
  • Oversee program direction including reporting & analytics, program management, system development, customer communication and experience, enablement, and the digital journey  
  • Turn direction into detailed program plans, coordinate execution and report progress against the key milestones and KPIs
  • Leadership of a global operations team around 60 employees and collaboration with multiple stakeholders cross functionally within the organization 
  • Support of the VP on key growth metric evaluations and specific support programs and initiatives
  • Support of integration of new acquisitions
  • Leverage project management tools and software advancements to maximize efficiencies  


What it takes:


  • 15+ years working in a global, high-tech environment with significant experience in a matrix organization required
  • Strong project management skills with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate resources outside of direct management to support strategies and initiatives
  • Extensive operations expereince, with proven Program Management and Customer Support experience 
  • Ability to work across multiple silos within the organization and lead cross functional teams to successful outcomes, including an ability to address complex situations into actionable plans
  • Strong organization skills; ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture across multiple projects
  • Identify and comprehend business changes quickly and communicate to executive/business sponsors
