The Opportunity:
Ensuring best in class accounting support is delivered consistently for the Record to Report area involving processing, reporting and presentation of accurate financial data in a timely manner to management and stakeholders. To drive, co-ordinate on audit with various stakeholders and teams for effective and smooth audit process. To focus on innovations to gain efficiency in the accounting area.
You are great at:

Good accounting knowledge to understand and post Journal Entries
-
Prepare and review account reconciliation
-
Processing and Approving Journals and reconciliations
-
Ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality of work performed regularly including report extraction; query management
-
Handling complex size entities in production and audits
-
To document the process in standard SOP
-
Handling and supporting Audits
-
Perform Volume Analysis, Support production planning and backup planning
-
Support management reporting and Operations Review
-
Balance sheet review and variance analysis for small scale entities
What it takes:

First level university degree with a focus in commerce advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred

Typically 8-10 years of experience in a Finance function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of R2R accounting

Good excel, PowerPoint and communication skills

Ability to deliver multiple priorities and do effective time management

Good understanding of System/Integration, problem solving and analytical skills
-
Ability to understand, interpret and present financial data
-
Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders acting as a trusted business advisor

Identifying potential escalation and acting on that in a timely manner
