The Opportunity:

As Lead Cloud Application Engineer, you will join a global team, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow and mentor other team members. You will be actively engaged with Product Management, Product Engineering, and others across the CloudOps Delivery team.  You will bring your ideas and knowledge to continue to improve and make our cloud deployments more resilient.    responsible for the technical delivery of the TeamSite LiveSite / Exstream / OpenText Media Management/OpentextContentServersolutions.

 

You are great at:

 

  • Participate and contribute to technical design & deployment activities.
  • Participate in the day-to-day administration of the systems, including Incident & Problem Management
  • Participate in planning and execution of new implementations, upgrades and patching activities.
  • Participate in the advanced configuration of TeamSite LiveSite / Exstream / OpenText Media Management / Opentext content Server software (xECM, Archive Center, OTDS, xECM for Engineering) components, in line with project and customer time scales.
  • To co-ordinate project delivery through multiple teams that may include 3rd party suppliers, partners, and client resources.
  • Actively contribute to automate provisioning, patching and upgrade activities where possible to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Able to build and deploy applications to cloud infrastructure on AWS 
  • Understand requirements, conduct detailed design, determine level of effort, plan work breakdown structures and implementation approach

 

What it takes:

 

  • BE/B. Tech. or equivalent technical qualification
  • 5 -10 years of relevant experience
  • Well versed with deployment, administration and troubleshooting of the TeamSite LiveSite / Exstream / Opentext Media Management / Opentext Content Server (xECM, Archive Center, OTDS, xECM for Engineering)  and surrounding components .
  • Ability to develop shared library to using GitLab or AWS Code Commit to enable build and deploy 
  • Experience working with AWS in a solution and deployment role.
  • Should have experience on build and deployment process for different technology-based applications like Java, Python, shell etc.
  • Experience with at least one of CI/CD build and deployment system (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub or AzureDevOps GitHub, Maven)
  • Strong understanding of cloud native and container based distributed systems like Kubernetes
