The Opportunity:

NNMi Senior Consultant will provide technology consulting in the field of Network Infra Structure monitoring to external customers. Responsible for providing Implementation and Solution support to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. Responsible for application administration and customization tasks for one or several highly complex customer cloud and off cloud deployments. A Technical Consultant possesses technical expertise in implementing, tuning and optimizing product solutions, adhering to Micro Focus (now OpenText) best practices.

You are great at:

• Must have experience of working on enterprise-wide Micro Focus NNMi solutions in a consulting role.

• Must have good requirements analysis & design skills, including documentation & communication skills.

• Must have excellent knowledge of Operations Manager and Network Management.

• Hands on experience of installation NNMi in Standalone and Distributed architecture.

• Hands on experience of installing and configure various iSPI’s
  iSPI for performance 
  iSPI for QA
  iSPI for Traffic
  iSPI for MPLS
  iSPI for Telephony and etc.

• Hands on experience in migrating/Upgrade of NNMi and iSPI.

• Experience in supporting NNMi in multitenancy is added advantage.

• Experience in Network administration is desirable

• Ability of troubleshooting and support for NNMi related issues.

• Detailed exposure of custom collections and Integration with other Micro Focus products and 3rd Party Software.

• Conducting requirement gathering & Technical Audit for NNMi deployment.

• Preparing Solution design document, Requirement traceability Matrix, As-build and Test Plans document for NNMi deployment.

• Take ownership of the deliverables as per effort estimation and lead to deliver and close the project with a team.

• Report customization as required by customer

• NNMi Integration with other Micro Focus products like OM and Omi.

What it takes:

• In depth trouble shooting skills.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Experience in working with other members at remote location (International).

• Time flexibility for meetings that may be conducted outside local business hours.

• Available to travel (Both Domestic & International).

• Demonstrated technical documentation skills - technical documentation, solution design, release notes, user guides, test plans, test results summary document etc. Experience in creating Design document and Acceptance Test Plan.
