The Opportunity :


A Technical Architect in Professional Services team you will work closely with other Professional Service Consultants in the delivery Documentum Projects.

Good communication skills - Customer interactions. End to end IT infra & Business application understanding. Hands On experience on IT Infra & Cloud Deployment in both Public & Private env for Documentum Life sciences customers.


You are great at :


  • Represent OpenText in a professional manner to customers, partners and other OpenText personnel at all times
  • Attending new business meetings with the business development team to act as the subject matter expert as required
  • Understand customer needs and develop high-quality presentations, proposals and software demonstrations that speak of these needs.
  • Lead a team of consultants reporting to a project manager while assigned to active customer engagements. Collaborate with the project manager to define the project plan, risk mitigation plan, quality checklists and regularly communicate status to the project manager. Proactively identify issues and implement preventive/remedial measures
  • Understand requirements, assist client facing team members in envisioning and documenting the technical architecture, conduct detailed design, determine level of effort, plan work breakdown structures and implementation approach
  • Acquire OpenText Proven Certification in Documentum Content Management and Life sciences


You"ll bring:


  • Must have 10 or more years of recent Technical Architecture experience in Documentum with familiarity of Documentum Life sciences solution suite.
  • Solid understanding & experience in GxP and delivering validated infrastructure for Life sciences customers
  • Ability to perform Architecture Assessment and Performance analysis on Documentum Life sciences solution suite.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise & technical architecture and architectural frameworks - Thorough knowledge scaling, troubleshooting and performance improvements in Documentum Life sciences solution suite
  • Strong Enterprise Architecture and Integration consulting skills.
  • Proficient in techniques for performance testing and tuning RDBMS query performance
  • Technical Knowledge of Storage, Network and Compute (Windows, UNIX, Linux) environments
  • High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Data Management, Capacity Management, and/or Application Service Resiliency
  • Sound knowledge on application sizing and fair knowledge on HW infra
  • Good understanding of internet protocols, network and application security methods
  • Experience with cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Knowledge of systems architecture design & planning utilizing physical and virtualized environments
  • Strong planning and analytical skills combined with ability to work with geographically distributed teams in a rapid development model
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex technical topics in a manner non-technical stakeholders can easily understand
  • Good team motivation skills.
