OpenText's Total Reward's team is a key HR ‘Center of Excellence’ and a strategic partner to business. The team plays a significant role in contributing to the employee value proposition by designing Total Rewards programs and implementation strategies.

You will have a keen interest in applying your Total Rewards knowledge in a dynamic environment. You will provide program oversight and continue to evolve India compensation, benefits, and wellness programs. This position develops the Total Rewards strategy for India region that supports the goals and mission of the Global Total Rewards strategy. As Sr. Total Rewards Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for leadership and management of regional Total Rewards (TR) programs

  • Providing both strategic and day-to-day consultation, guidance to HR and Business Leaders on all Compensation, Benefits and Wellness related matters

  • Lead the plan design and delivery of comprehensive TR programs to meet business objectives within the India region. 

  • Conducting local policy review, design & development of new policies, create recommendations with robust cost analysis & market trends and assist on communication and deployments of the new plans.

  • Lead M&A activities for the region and act as the lead contact for all regional TR decisions 

  • Partnering with global HR teams to drive strategy, ensuring a market fair compensation and benefits programs.

  • Scaling the India function while balancing alignment with corporate TR frameworks and local regulatory requirements

  • Advocate for employee experience in all communication design decisions on TR related matters

  • Partnering with external vendors to ensure our offerings are market competitive, while maintaining the cost efficiency.

  • Partnering with HRSS teams to ensure administration of C&B programs are in line with regulations and policy and are continually improving to enhance employe experience.

  • Maintain professional knowledge of current/future trends, developments, and legislation in the compensation field on a global basis, with emphasis in the software/IT industry.

  • Collaborating with other COE teams and leading other teams in developing effective program to increase understanding, promote programs and shape employee engagement.

What it takes:

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a regional leader for C&B and Wellness programs, while partnering and providing recommendations to our rewards leadership

  • Have experience developing, managing, and implementing regional and/or global compensation programs and country-specific benefits and wellness programs.

  • Have ability to identify challenges and develop appropriate solutions while meeting competing and shifting deadlines.

  • Have experience identifying concepts, creating business cases, influencing senior management and creating key stakeholder buy-in

  • Have awareness of C&B and Wellness trends including regional market data resources and legislative requirements in India

  • Have the ability in a matrixed organization to build relationships across globe. Establishing trust, respect, competence and confidence

  • Have high level proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
