The Opportunity:

As a Sr. EDI Consultant, you will be part of a high-performance team culture. You will be working with Enterprise EDI on Opentext Business network. Implement new customers, project in the SaaS platform. Develop clarity of any identified Problem, required reporting and support EDI solutions ranging from moderate to complex implementations.


You are great at:


  • Should have around 5-to-8 years of experience in map development, TP integration, TP onboarding.

  • Working in US and EMEA shift is a must.

  • Understand current EDI solution implementations & provide Level 3 support when required for Production.

  • Support Enterprise Grade EDI implementation on Opentext Business Network

  • Develop and build EDI maps (inbound and outbound) based on the document, structures, and specifications, testing with sample data, generating the output, and validating the output

  • TP Integration, TP onboarding and TP communication.

  • Apply changes or enhancements to EDI map data translation process or map logic.

  • Prepare test data and perform unit testing to ensure deliverables are defect free

  • Develop Biz Trans Maps, TP setup and Enablement.

  • Communicate overall status of map development / changes to development leads and changes in map status to other interface parties (i.e. Lead Analysts, Functional Testers, and Integrators).

  •  Understand basics of security in EDI communication and GDPR.

What it takes:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain maps, business processes, services, settings and properties in the B2B platform solution.

  • 5+ years of experience in using any B2B mapping tools like Sterling Integrator, Gentran, Seeburger, GXS AI ,BizManager , Contivo,Tibco,WebMethods.

  • Analyzes and defines EDI requirements for clients, especially for needs and circumstances that are slightly unusual.

  • Provides advice and education to clients concerning EDI guidelines and capabilities.

  • Candidate should have good knowledge on Mapping analysis and should be able to create Mapping specifications /Correlations.

  • Develops and maintains communication links with trading partners and oversees integration of information.

  • Experience in understanding as well as evaluating various B2B standards like EDI X12, EDIFACT, VDA,TRADACOMS, XML, cXML, ebXML, XCBL, UBL, PEPPOL,CSV and JSON format.

  • Should be able to work independently on analysis and development on any EDI standards

  • Should be able to create any kind of complex Mapping specifications or Correlation guide independently.

  • Should be able to suggest customer and TP with proper EDI standards and mapping logic.

  • Proficiency in identifying and debugging production issues within defined SLA times with minimal quality issues.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot questions/problems from the user community.

  • Coordinate with business users and QA for UAT testing and signoff.

  • Should have full understanding of the software development life cycle and hands-on experience in working through all the stages of software development and release management.

  • Should be able to take ownership of Tasks.
