The opportunity:


OpenText is seeking a passionate, innovative, solution-oriented, and customer-obsessed professional to join the leadership team of the India Centre of Excellence - Customer Solutions Group (CSG) organization.  The Sr. Manager, CSG will be a strategic thought leader working various global stakeholders to help design, develop Professional and Managed service offerings as well as a go-to-market strategy that help customers extract maximum lifetime value from the wide variety of OpenText Enterprise products.  He/She will also be responsible for driving several Organization initiatives around Automation, Innovation, Productivity & Capability development working with various Delivery leaders in the India CoE.


You are great at


  • Solution Design and Management
    • Deep partnership and engagement with various stakeholders like – CSG Portfolio Mgmt, Sales and Practice Managers to assess global customer demand as well as opportunities for OpenText products and solutions
    • Perform internal Discovery across products to identify overlaps, potential for Strategic Solutions and potential for packaging Solutions into New Offerings
    • Establish current Capability Matrix and its correlation to Demand and internal Discovery
    • Develop the Solution Offering Weightage Matrix
    • Identify New Offering Value Proposition, New Offering Definition and GTM approach creation
      • Focus on Solution Offering that can be seamlessly mapped to the product journey
      • Emphasize on creating Value generating and Cloud services centric Solution Offering
      • Enabling design thinking mindset at the Offering level to drive continuous enhancement of the Offering
    • Derive opportunities for allowing inclusion of New Solution / Offering into existing engagements as value generating OpenText IPs to expand the solution/offering organically
    • Sales Socialization Roadshow: Offering Value Proposition
  • Operationalize - Sales/Pre-Sales enablement & support:
    • Creating Strategic Battle Card/Sales Pitch for Business Development teams
    • Creating Standardized Offering collaterals such as - Service Catalogue, Pricing Catalogue and Standard Solution Offering presentation for enabling Business development to sell product-oriented solutions to customers
    • Create processes & collateral that accelerate Time to first quote for any opportunity
  • Drive Organization Wide Cross-Functional Continuous Service Improvement/Enhancements
    • Automation & Innovation
      • Drive Adoption of Automation led improvement Initiatives across Service Delivery teams
      • Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to identify potential automation use-cases
      • Generate business case for such use-case execution by translating the use-case outcome into efficiency improvements or direct savings in $
      • Building the Shared Service Automation Library
    • Metrics & Reporting
      • Consolidate Key Metrics and associate them to Business outcomes
      • Identify overlapping and unique Metric categories and Standardize metric tracking approach across products or offering where applicable
      • Provide Visibility into Metrics and customizable Metric reporting options to internal and customer teams


What it takes


  • 15+ years of IT experience, with 8-12 years’ relevant experience in designing, delivering Professional and Managed service offerings for global customers
  • Deeply passionate about technology, he/she must have a strong understanding of Cloud platforms (iaaS, PaaS) & Cloud technologies used to deploy and manage products and services on the Cloud.
  • Strong organizational and influencing skills across teams, ability to engage stakeholders, to understand change readiness, manage differences and create buy-in.
  • Impeccable operating discipline and the ability to perform build-operate-transfer as needed to groom the team to a world class level of performance.
  • Customer-friendly with excellent communication and presentation skills, including excellent listening and consultative capabilities and writing skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus).
