YOUR IMPACT

The ESM R&D team is seeking an experienced Automation lead engineer, to join our Global R&D team to deliver innovative enterprise software solutions by working in a fast paced challenging and enriching environment. This is a high-growth business, and our solutions are used by enterprise class highly demanding customers across the globe. We are using a Microservices based architecture composed of multiple services running on Kubernetes using Docker Containers. 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Collaborating with Agile team members and Leads/Architects to come up with good test scenarios and tests and setting up the test environments.
• Writing Test scenarios and tests for the features and align with stakeholders.
• Work across teams and functional roles to ensure interoperability among other products, including training and consultation.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates issues when necessary.
• Participate in the software development process from design to release in an Agile Development Framework.
• Current Product Engineering (CPE) based on customer submitted incidents.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies in the R&D organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically, 5 to 8 years of experience

• In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience with test/performance automation tools and frameworks e.g.: Cucumber, Selenium & JMeter, LoadRunner
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell script, Python)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Good understanding of application database architecture and models.
• Strong customer focus and ready to delve into complex issues in customer environments to identify root causes.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
