Sr. Software Engineer - Enterprise Java, NMS,EMS

Your Impact :

NOM is a global leader in the enterprise network management space and is being re-architected to address the latest trends in the networking domain, including SDN, telemetry, network analytics, etc. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about our journey of product evolution. The candidate should have strong technical skills, familiarity with network management, design & programming skills, TDD, Java, and WildFly technologies. This role will require working closely with technical architects and product owners to lead and contribute towards the design and implementation of key features and enhancements.

What the role offers:

•        Designing and developing scalable, extensible, and secure product enhancements

•        Executing high-quality engineering, including test-driven development

•        Working well with team members, architects, product owners, tech lead and scrum masters to come up with the best solutions and execute them efficiently

•        Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation

•        Providing guidance, reviewing implementation design documents and codes, and mentoring less-experienced staff members.

What you need to succeed:

•        Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

•        Typically, 5+ years’ relevant experience.

•        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

•        Strong hands-on Java backend development skills

•        Good knowledge in JBoss/WildFly, RDBMS, REST-based API development

•        Good communication and collaboration skills

•        Great to have: Experience with network management, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), and networking technologies

•        Great to have: Software development experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, SaaS, and Cloud environments
