OpenText is looking to hire a talented full stack developer for our Fortify AppSec Business Unit, to build enterprise-level software for application security. Our software helps many Fortune 100 organizations secure their applications for customers. The Team:
The Fortify Software Security team is building a suite of tools to help our clients visualize data, review and audit vulnerabilities. You will be a full stack developer in the team who can contribute as both backend and frontend Developer on the team, and you will contribute to projects that aid in the aggregation, analysis, and visualization of source code vulnerabilities to secure applications. Fortify is ranked marked leader in Application Security by Gartner.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

•    A self-starter who takes responsibility for what you build
•    Well-versed in Angular/React technologies & UI frameworks
•    Able to lead projects and collaborate well with team members in an Agile development environment
•    A firm believer in the value of testing and writing automated tests
•    Have a good understanding of system design patterns, and on-premise deployments
•    Proficient in one or more back end languages, Node.js and/or Java preferred
•    Someone who strives for engineering excellence and writing clean, maintainable code
•    Enthusiastic about researching new technologies and integrating them into existing systems whenever appropriate
•    BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• 5+ years of overall industry experience working on both frontend and backend work
• Senior Front-End Engineer with strong background in Angular/React framework. Experience with Automated testing on front end
• Strong programming experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, Sass and CSS
• Experience with RESTful web services, relational and non-relational databases
• Proven experience delivering robust, scalable systems that fulfil requirements within strict time constraints
• A good understanding of best practices in web development with experience in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and delivery of enterprise web applications
• Working experience with Dockers and Kubernetes

• Application Security experience a plus
