The Opportunity:


The OpenText ECM Technical Specialist team is currently searching for a technically dynamic and resourceful individual who has the ability to provide exceptional technical support in a challenging and rewarding environment. The incumbent will be joining a team that provides world class technical customer support to a variety of enterprise customers while working across business units to ensure that customer satisfaction is met in every form. Their focus will be supporting the ECM (Enterprise Content Management) suite of products within customer environments.


You are great at:


The successful candidate will be working in a highly functioning team consisting of Technical Specialists that work effectively together to reach a common goal.

  • Identifying and resolving customers' issues in a timely manner via telephone support and written correspondence.
  • Managing customer relationships and clearly documenting all interactions within the CRM application.
  • Providing suggestions for alternate support options for customer issues that are not related to Open Text's products.
  • Testing of Open Text product issues within various environments for validation and solution purposes.
  • Reporting software bugs and customer suggestions to SME.


What it takes:


  • 5 to 8 years of hands on experience working on OpenText Content Server.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience working within a technical support environment
  • Experience with Windows
  • Experience in Application Servers
  • Experience MS SQL
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills required
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills required
  • Willing to work in 24x5 shifts
