The Role

An intelligent and enthusiastic staff-level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is able to help develop automated tests, understand production code, and work with others on CI/CD technologies.

They are part of an Agile development team that delivers quality features in each sprint.  The SDET will learn and apply software testing skills and develop an understanding of software design.  We encourage a wide-viewed appreciation of the software development life cycle.


You will need to adapt to an ever-changing dynamic environment, be open to a challenging set of technology stacks, and advocate for quality (ultimately supporting our end users).   A positive, cooperative, and constructive attitude is a key to success – as well as being open to new concepts and sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team.  Be willing to learn and apply your lessons to help your team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Interest in being a Software Development Engineer in Test, writing automation against diverse components -- UI, SDK libraries, and/or RESTful APIs
  • Proficient with a higher-level, object-oriented language – like Java or C++
  • Aptitude towared test design techniques and testing philosophies.
  • Experience with testing tools (like Appium, Selenium, UiAutomator, or XCUITest)

Helpful Assets:

  • Experience testing/developing web micro-services and REST/gRPC APIs.
  • Experience testing/developing native mobile applications.
  • Familiarity reading multiple programming/script languages – like Kotlin, Bash, Swift, Python
  • Comfort with project-planning and bug tracking programs – like Jira
  • Web-testing through Selenium and/or app testing through Appium
  • Interest in containerization – like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Comfort working with Git or other code repositories.


For Colorado residents, this job is expected to pay in the range of $68,000.00 USD to $102,000.00 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
