The Opportunity

The combined Marketing Analytics & Campaign Operations team at Carbonite + Webroot, an OpenText company, is seeking a Marketing Analyst with a Digital focus to help us expand our product presence with small and medium businesses.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to support the various marketing teams within Carbonite and Webroot, an OpenText company.  As an Analyst, you would work closely with various marketing leaders, along with various stakeholders within Marketing, to accurately and effectively measure and analyze various marketing efforts, including digital and non-digital campaigns. 

This role will report to the Marketing Analytics & Campaign Operations Manager with a dotted line responsibility to our Director of Digital Growth Marketing. The goal for this position is to strategically identify key patterns, actionable recommendations, insights and intelligence that will add value to OpenText’s marketing initiatives.


Job Responsibilities

  • General:
    • Participating in cross-functional teams providing reporting and analytical expertise on issues involving marketing efforts and efficacy
    • Creating and maintaining reporting dashboards and presentations for marketing and marketing leadership, including marketing’s impact on bookings, ROI reporting, weekly lead delivery forecasting, marketing campaign efficacy, systemic audit reports, and departmental KPI achievement, etc.
    • Creating and documenting processes to ensure your audience is best using the tools and reports available to them
    • Ensuring that underlying data is maintained for reporting integrity

  • Digital:
    • Working closely with the Growth Marketing Team to scale the growth of our ecommerce business of carbonite.com, webroot.com and hightail.com.
    • Performing in-depth analysis of quantitative data derived from paid media traffic and online visitor behavior spanning across major digital advertising platforms and key OpenText assets. 
    • Performing regular QA audits including account setups and scripts to ensure data is being gathered accurately
  • Revenue Operations:
    • Delivering reports, dashboards, analytical support to Sales and Marketing, as well as conducting regular cadence reviews with key Marketing stakeholders.
    • Visualizing corporate operating metrics using Tableau, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point. This may include, but is not limited to, campaign efficacy, events analysis, social metrics, digital advertising analysis, spend efficacy, etc.
    • Working cross-functionally with the Business Intelligence and FP&A teams to ensure appropriate use of both developed and source data
    • Prepare marketing financial achievement reporting in quarterly business reviews, monthly business reviews and as needed

What It Takes

  • 2+ years relevant analyst experience – technology industry preferred
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience creating dashboards and tailored analytics reports
  • Ability to write complex formulas and calculated fields using SQL alongside a data visualization tool – Tableau preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Fluency with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio – certification is a plus
  • Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, DV360 is a plus
  • Knowledgeable about audience segmentation, attribution modeling and CRO
  • Experience with analyzing A/B tests along with the ability to interpret results with statistical significance 
  • Exposure to heatmapping and multivariate testing is a plus

For Colorado residents, this job is expected to pay in the range of $53, 000 to $80, 000 in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
