Your Impact


As the HRSS Payroll Specialist for the UK employees, your impact is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for Open Text entities, encompassing country-specific payrolls. Your responsibilities include overseeing payroll accounting tasks, monitoring inputs, reconciling reports, handling benefit invoices, and contributing to compliance and audit-related activities.


What the Role Offers


- End-to-End Processing: Undertake start-to-end payroll processing within the assigned portfolio, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

- Comprehensive Administration: Manage all aspects of payroll administration, including benefits, compliance, tax, financial year-end, and banking/treasury-related activities.

- Payment Dispensations: Take responsibility for all payment dispensations related to payroll activities, supporting administrative tasks linked to compliance, statistics, and audits.

- Continuous Development: Play a key role in training team members, developing your own knowledge, and staying abreast of the evolving professional landscape.

- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, proactively anticipating challenges, and ensuring preparedness in advance.

- Deadline Management: Exhibit conscientiousness and organizational skills, planning and delivering on key tasks and deadlines.

- Stakeholder Support: Provide support for queries from internal and external parties, ensuring submissions are accurate, timely, and aligned with legislative requirements.


What It Takes to Succeed


  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Payroll, with an international company with multiple legal entities.
  •  College diploma or equivalent experience, Payroll certifications unique to the country (e.g. Fundamental Payroll Certificate in the US; CIPP in the UK)
  • Experience in the following software packages:
    • Outsourced payroll packages (ADP Globalview, Streamline, Celergo,)
    • SAP SuccessFactors HCM
    • Microsoft Office
    • Finance General Ledger Systems
    • Excellent knowledge in MSExcel
