About the team and role
We are expanding our advanced analytics and decision- support team to further focus on our insights-driven decision-support functionality that serves to uncover insights to better attract, develop, motivate, and retain OpenText’s most important asset - our people.
You will partner closely with HR & Business Stakeholders to clearly define problem statements and perform actionable diagnostic and predictive analyses. You will play a pivotal role in helping leaders use people data to make strategic business decisions through combining both experiential data (e.g., engagement survey) and operational data (e.g. demographics) to identify insights and opportunities for us to improve the employee experience of our global employee population.

Designing interactive and insightful dashboards that cut across the entire employee lifecycle.

Acting as a consultant on projects, bringing HR analytics to help inform course of action in partnership with key stakeholders.

Being part of a team that is “building” – figuring out how to improve legacy methods through trying out new methods and bringing new approaches to calculating and reporting core people metrics.

Performing proactive diagnostic analysis on key HR measures, trends, and hot spots, and surface meaningful, actionable insights and recommendations to global and regional leaders.

Developing and delivering analytical and machine learning models to solve people related challenges with data-driven insights.

Maintaining skills and education in People Analytics research, "best practices", technology, and connections with other Analytics teams.

Collaborating closely with core team members including the ‘Reporting & Data Governance Manager’, ‘Organizational Effectiveness’ team, and HR IT to execute projects; providing subject matter advisory to achieve results.
You are someone who has expertise in the following areas:
-
Degree in Applied Mathematics or Statistics or related field.

Ability to quickly learn new technology/software/systems, understanding of HR systems, data and reporting.

Experience with HRIS and reporting/ data visualization.

Eager to take initiative and comfortable juggling multiple priorities with time sensitive deadlines.

Great communicator who excels at distilling concepts and complex people data into easy-to-follow stories using MS Office tools such as PowerPoint.

Knowledge of SQL, Power BI and ETL pipelines.

Knowledge of Pythong (or R) is a plus.
