Sr. Product Manager

The Business Products, Network & Platform Product team is looking for a dynamic self-starter to own our user management console experience, performance, reporting and roadmap.


As Product Manager,Consoles, you will be responsible for communicating and executing against the vision and strategy for our user management consoles. You will be responsible for helping define a unified product and console experience for both internal and external customers and partners while driving product releases.


You will be an evangelist for good user experience and will become a subject matter expert across the organization, working closely with UX, Engineering, Operations and Product to represent the story and vision behind our solutions.

You will be charged with turning data sets into insights using a mix of platforms and tools, guided by experienced colleagues. A collaborative effort, you will focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analysing and visualizing the data, and reporting on it to your peers and leaders.

Reporting to a Director of Product Management, this role provides candidates autonomy, responsibility, and coaching driven leadership to further develop your skills and career within a positive and mentored environment.



  • Own and understand the market, customer and operational needs, act as liaison and subject matter expert for the maintenance and innovation of our management consoles.
  • Help deliver the product vision, strategy and roadmaps for the management consoles.
  • Use data driven decisions to prioritize, enable and deliver.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining standards and guidelines for the design, deployment and maintenance of our management consoles.
  • Assist measuring the success of the product from multiple perspectives and able to report out to varied leadership levels.
  • Be visible and social – the role requires the ability to drive cross-team collaboration and building relationships with key stakeholders, often negotiating and balancing different team’s needs.
  • Partner with other Product managers and development teams to deliver a unified product experience with input from customers, prospects, analysts, advisory teams and internal product experts.
  • Make tough prioritization choices and find creative solutions to hard problems.
  • Drive feature delivery and lifecycle: research customer/user needs; assist in writing user stories with Agile Team Coordinators, work with engineering to develop, test and deliver service innovations on time.
  • Assist with internal and external communication.
  • Interface directly with customers and the customer support team on escalations.



  • Experience of development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban
  • Some experience of software product delivery
  • Some experience of large-scale Public Cloud, or Public/Private Cloud infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tune messaging based on audience
  • Highly collaborative, able to partner with Technical, Operations and Field sales teams
  • The ability to travel - This role may require travel to OpenText offices, customer/partner, and third-party sites/events in North America, Europe, and Asia (10-15%) in the future.


  • AWS technologies, distributed systems and NoSQL databases
  • Consumer and/or B2B UI Consoles/Principles of UE/UX
  • Cyber/Network Security/MSP space experience/knowledge
  • Endpoint, Network or Web security risks and/or general Cybersecurity threats.
