Lead Web Developer (m/f/d)

The Capture Group of OpenText Enterprise Content Management platforms division is focusing on development and maintenance of the Capture product line. The Capture technology transforms electronic and paper documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, document classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to backend system.   

What you will do:

Your mission will be to become a leading application programmer in the field of data extraction. You will join the team of experts programming the core of the capture solutions developed at OpenText. You will contribute to application logic that interfaces the algorithms for data classification, data extraction and data science (both image-based and text-based). The resulting applications are predominately - but not exclusively - used in the content management and information management solutions, where the fast and unattended data extraction is the essential foundation for automation of number of business processes and solution. The primary targeted environment for the solutions you will be working on is the cloud, both public and private. 
You will work on a daily basis with the solution architects and teammates in the scrum team against the requirements created for the portfolio. Your contribution not only meets the functional expectation but also meets the performance and security criteria. Your solutions are sustainable over time.   

What it takes:

• Several years of commercial experience programming large enterprise applications as a front end or full stack engineering
• Proficient in JavaScript/Typescript/C#, good orientation in very large code base comprising of several programming languages 
• Familiar with componentized development
• Great communication skills both oral as well as written in English, German language skills would be beneficial

Preferred skills:

• Proven knowledge or adequate certifications on Microsoft technology .NET stack for application development
• Experience with one of the dominating frameworks for front end development (e.g. Angular, React, etc.) 
• Experience with programming solutions for cloud environment using container technologies and 12Factor Apps
