The Capture Group of OpenText Enterprise Content Management platforms division is focusing on development and maintenance of the Capture product line. The Capture technology transforms electronic and paper documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, document classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to backend system.  

What you will do:

Your mission will be to become business and solution architect for data classification and extraction. At beginning, you join the team of experts programming the core of the capture solutions developed at OpenText. You will contribute to the algorithms and applications oriented at the data classification, data extraction and analysis (both image and text). The resulting algorithms and applications are predominately - but not exclusively - used in the content management and information management solutions targeting SAP business domain, where the fast and unattended data processing is the essential foundation for automation of number of business processes and solution.

You will work on daily basis with the product owners and business architects across the portfolio and identify the best suitable solution to requirements presented by them.  You work against the requirements and your design leverages the best available technologies we have in the portfolio. Your architecture not only meets the functional expectation but also meets the performance and security criteria. Your solutions are sustainable over the time.  


What does it take:


  • University degree in the relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of commercial experience programming large enterprise applications using .NET stack (C++/C#) on Windows.
  • Commercial experience with architecting enterprise applications
  • Good sense for using OOP principles designing large scale, high performance, sustainable enterprise applications
  • Good knowledge of the concurrent programming models and patterns (like 12Factor App)
  • Good orientation in very large code base comprising of several programming languages
  • Good team player in an international environment spanning literally across the world
  • Proficiency in English language both oral as well as written


Preferred skills:

  • Experience with using machine learning (inclusive deep learning) technologies
  • Experience with text processing oriented at classification, extraction, and analysis
  • Practical experience with ORC/ICR technologies
  • Practical experience with any concurrent platform for machine learning
  • Experience with Linux and container technologies
