Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) for SAP ABAP (Cloud)

YOUR IMPACT 
In this exciting position, you will join a great team in an in-house position to develop together our very successful SAP reseller products. 
 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS 

• Work with a great, experienced team in an agile development process on new and innovative cloud solutions for our SAP products
• Align with leaders on key milestones and deliverables and communicate and coordinate across teams and diverse stakeholders to deliver new ABAP Cloud product components and to support the adoption of our existing solutions according to the latest SAP Clean Core concepts
• Be responsible for product and component architecture and lead the development team to adapt new methods and standards
• Be responsible for the entire software product life cycle and recommend policies and standards 
• Follow our agile development process as an in-house architect and developer with the flexibility to work from home regularly
• Constantly upgrade knowledge on the latest technologies and standards and be passionate about new technologies and innovations around ABAP Cloud and SAP Business Technology Platform
   

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

• A completed bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent technical qualification with comparable technical skills with at least 10+ years of professional experience as a developer
• Good knowledge of the new ABAP programming models introduced with S/4 HANA for RAP, EML, CDS views, and ODATA
• In the context of SAP S/4HANA, S/4 HANA Cloud good knowledge of SAP architecture, development tools, integration & extensibility capabilities, and technologies
• Experience in SAP BTP ABAP Environment and SAP BTP Services and other development languages (Python, JavaScript, Java) is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking skills, solution and scenario-oriented thinking, and the ability to work independently
• Strength to lead a project team with broad impact and provide thought leadership
• Strong communication skills to simplify and convey complex matters and advice across diverse stakeholders
• Excellent English language skills both written and spoken, German language skills  would be beneficial
