Associate Software Engineer - Success Factor - EC module

The Opportunity:

OpenText is looking for strong candidates to be part of a diverse team responsible for delivery of configuration solutions for SuccessFactors. This individual will be able to effectively interact with the end-user community to gather requirements for enhancements or identification of problems in the production environment.   

This candidate will be an integral part of information systems development and integration for Open Text IT Enterprise Business Systems organization.


You are great at:

The Software Engineer SuccessFactors will have the following responsibilities:  

  • Day to day systems support of a combination of modules in SuccessFactors  

  • Employee Central (EC Core) The incumbent will leverage best practice technology solutions to continually upgrade and improve the implemented SuccessFactors modules.

  • Work with SAP SF to create and resolve incidents for the business

  • Provide ongoing technical and operational consultation on system functionality, system upgrades, configuration


What it takes: 

The successful Software Engineer will have the following Core Requirements:

  • The ability to support all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, and post-production support/maintenance functions as well as documentation, and end-user training

  • Experience in SF  Employee Central

  • Minimum of 1 year of technical/system administration experience managing HRIS technology, including experience with Success Factors or similar HRIS system, implementation and/or System Administration

  • Ensure compliance to all development standards and naming conventions

  • Ensure adherence to change control process

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience

  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a multi-tasking, changing environment

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills are required
