WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

We are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer with knowledge in SAP technologies to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing out SAP agenda. You will be responsible for working with the product development team to contribute primarily to the quality of the product, which includes participating in product engineering, understanding, and developing required automated tests and testing infrastructure for the planned releases.

One last thing:

• Automation: Develop automated tests using existing automation frameworks and contribute to extending the frameworks according to product needs. 
• SAP System Familiarity: Experienced with SAP systems, including Solution Manager, SAP GUI, SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Cloud ALM. You’ll interact with these components to verify our solutions. Understanding of SAP development practices, ABAP, and SAP modules is a plus.
• End-to-End Development Lifecycle: Understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, including unit testing, end-to-end testing, and deployment processes.
• Customers approach: Customer facing approach, ability to work with customers is a must.
• Team player: Able to interact with multiple teams and project owners and synthetize specific requirements to establish most suitable solution.
• Familiarity with multiple OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
• Familiarity with any programming language – Java/C# preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technical discipline 
• At least 2 years of hands-on test automation using Java technology.
• At least 2 years of hands-on manual testing web applications

Advantages

In addition to the core requirements, the following skills and knowledge would be advantageous for this leadership role:

• AWS Services: Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its offerings. Experience with cloud infrastructure and services is a plus.
• SAP System Familiarity: Experienced with SAP systems, including Solution Manager, SAP GUI, and SAP Fiori/UI5. You’ll interact with these components to build robust solutions. Understanding of SAP development practices, ABAP, and SAP modules is a plus.
• UFT Knowledge: Familiarity with OpenText UFT One is a plus.
• SAP Systems: Knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining SAP systems in a plus.
