Lead Software Engineer - Machine Learning

YOUR IMPACT:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will utilize superior knowledge and experience to perform highly complex product design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. These would cut across various systems and devices. At the core will be the need to drive future technology implementations. 


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

• Work with product managers to understand business objectives and to deliver results based on that context
• Research, design and develop Machine Learning algorithms and model as per the project requirement.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams for implementation.
• Understand the problem area in-depth, map it using a structured approach, and identify the appropriate model to solve the problem
• Provide expertise on mathematics, linear algebra and statistical concepts for identified problems and provide appropriate models to solve them.
• Own and continuously improve Machine Learning models.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Master’s degree/PHD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics Or related discipline.
• 8+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of a relevant Machine learning experience
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, convolutional neural networks (CNN), LSTMs, Attention
• Good knowledge in implementing deep learning models to extract data from Images, Image classification, Document classification models.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Very strong fundamentals of machine learning and statistical concepts
• Experience with using deep learning-based frameworks in image processing and object detection
• Hands-on experience on a minimum of 2 projects that involves ML or Deep Learning
• Min 2+ Experience in CNN, LSTMs, attention-based models, and ability to develop custom models based on these.
• Experience in Model Optimization.
• Min 2+ years’ Experience with Google's machine learning framework "Tensorflow."
• Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages: Python, R, Java, C#, C++, Scala.
