Lead Software Engineer - Machine Learning

The opportunity :

 

As a Lead Software Engineer, your mission will be to use latest technology to develop complex module/component design, automate and maintain an efficient, flexible, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions. 

 

You are good at:

 

  • Should be able to independently develop complex software
  • Responsible for timely delivery as agreed within the project without compromising on product quality
  • Takes ownership of code quality. Actively and effectively reviews source code, takes defect prevention steps in software developed. 
  • Interacts well with peers and communicates in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written on his/her work. 
  • Actively participate and contribute to analysis, design, planning, processes, etc., Raise issues where needed and create sensitivity towards timely resolution of problems.
  • Adopt agile development methodologies and test-driven development.

 

What it takes:

 

  • Master’s degree/PHD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics Or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of a relevant Machine learning experience
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, convolutional neural networks (CNN), LSTMs,transformers
  • Good knowledge in implementing deep learning models to extract data from Images, Image classification, Document classification models.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to explain complex topics to lower skilled audience
  • Good teamwork capabilities in a distributed team
  • Very strong fundamentals of machine learning and statistical concepts
  • Experience with using deep learning-based frameworks in image processing and object detection
  • Hands-on experience on a minimum of 2 projects that involves ML or Deep Learning
  • Min 2+ Experience in CNN, LSTMs based models and ability to develop custom models based on these.
  • Ability to work with different machine learning frameworks especially Pytorch, Tensorflow
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages: Python, R, Java, C, C++, Scala.
  • Strong skills in machine learning environments Python, numpy, opencv etc.
  • Knowledge in ONNX is a plus
  • Knowledge in natural language processing is a plus
  • Experience in optimizing inference speed in production environments
