The Opportunity:
OpenText Enterprise Information Management (EIM) technologies and business solutions allow organizations to take full advantage of enterprise information to gain better business insight, capitalize on opportunities to positively impact the business, improve process velocity, reduce risks related to information governance, and protect sensitive information and intellectual property from internal leaks and external threats. You are great at:

Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing new products, enhancements, and updates and coordinating projects for end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.

Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated, and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.

Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.

Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.

Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
-
Manage integrations with other business systems and tools, such as SuccessFactors, SAP and Concur to ensure data consistency and efficient information flow.

Perform regular application upgrades and maintenance.

People management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting, and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.
What it takes:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Over 12 years of software development experience building large-scale and highly distributed applications, including 2-4 years of people and project management experience.

Strong people management and leadership skills, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution.
-
Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, financial management and project structuring.
-
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Knowledge of integration and data migration processes.
-
Proficiency in PS system configurations and customizations.
-
Proficiency in data analysis and Cognos reporting.
-
Develop and maintain data models and templates for projects, resources, and financial data.
-
Act as the liaison with vendor for support, updates, and issue resolution.

Experience in Cognos analytical skills to generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into project performance, resource utilization, and financial metrics.

Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling. Optimize SQL queries and database design for improved performance.

Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Experience in enterprise application software development using agile development methodologies like SCRUM.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.

Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and

technologies.

Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Strong communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation).

Good understanding of the company's policies and processes.
