The Opportunity: 

Sr Financial Anayst to be part of the Shared Services team in Hyderabad, which is part of the Finance Organization.  Shared Services organization will support the Controllership functions across Geographies, with specific abilities to support defined tasks, follow process of receiving requests, responding with accurate analysis, recording responses and building knowledge repository.  


You are great at:


  • Accounting and Book keeping Support:
  • Assist with specific questions on balance sheet and P&L items
  • Assist with reconciliation of accounts period end balance sheet analysis.
  • Abilities to make journal entries and general ledger postings
  • Abilities to review, reconcile and map tax liabilities (eg Withholding tax) with bank payments
  • To review Accounts Receivable, map it to remittances received from Customers and reconcile customer accounts
  • Accounting Standard Support: implementing new/changed legislation on GAAP, track impact and help with reconciliation
  • Cash and Bank balance – Bank reconciliation, reconciliation of projection vs utilistaion
  • Statutory Audit and Internal Audits
  • Tax filings
  • Statistical Return filing for US / Canadian entities (Good to have)
  • Reviewing of financial statements and providing the schedules to support the review
  • Assist with responding to queries around financial statements & global collaboration


What it takes: 


  • 5 + years of specific experience with book keeping and accounting standard concepts
  • GST experience
  • SEZ and STPI experiance
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree specializing in Accounting and reporting
  • Proficiency and hands on exposure to SAP and Microsoft office applications
  • Analytical thinking and Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with cross culture teams across multi geographies
