Sr. Financial Analyst_Corporate accounting, IND-AS, Corporate tax & compliances

The Opportunity: 
Senior Accountant - to be part of the finance controllership team at Hyderabad.  India finance controllership team supports the India business and is responsible for the finance, compliances and control for India entities of Open Text. 

 

You are great at: 
Completing the Local GAAP audits and related compliances for India entities as per agreed timelines

  • Complete audit schedules timely
  • Complete financials sign-off timely
  • TP segmentation review
  • Review of Financials and preparation / review of schedules for India entities
  • Completing Local GAAP audits for India entities

 

Compliance with local Laws for India entities

  • Ensure RBI compliances are attended to timely.
  • Track all RBI open items to closure with consultants
  • Form FC-GPRs etc., are filed with RBI in time
  • IFC and Internal Audit

 

Ensure Secretarial compliances are accurate and completed on time

  •  Board, AGM Minutes, Directors' Report and related documents within the statutory timelines
  • Filing of Annual returns, other returns of companies for IN10, IN11, IN12, and IN14
  • Filing of other ROC returns - DIR-3, DIR-12, DPT-3 etc.,
  • Preparation / review of Board resolutions on various matters as necessary

Billing / SEZ / STPI Compliances

  • Review and ensure IC billing is accurate and collaborate with relevant teams to conclude the exercise in a timely manner
  • Ensure SEZ / STPI filings are accurate- Review of monthly, quarterly and annual filings with SEZ / STPI, as applicable

 

  • Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end closure and Other general / adhoc tasks
  • Posting of month-end entries
  • BL recs review is done timely and issues flagged
  • Ensure Komrisk is updated on a monthly basis
  • Making sure quarterly BS reconciliations are completed on time. Planning and settling the reconciliation items between IGAAP and USGAAP
  • USGAAP actuarial valuation, MIS reporting
  • Non-leading JE's in SAP
  • Other adhoc works that may arise

 

What it takes:  

  • 5 + years of experience with book-keeping and accounting standard concepts
  • GST experience
  • SEZ and STPI experience
  • CA/CS
  • Proficiency and hands on exposure to SAP and Microsoft office applications
  • Analytical thinking and Problem-solving abilities with an ownership attitude
  • Ability to work with a diverse team
  • Good verbal and written English communication
