YOUR IMPACT

 

As a Senior Manager in the Content Services group, you will join a collaborative, fast-paced team and work cross-functionally to design, build, and launch the next generation Viewing and Transformation Services, and OpenText integrations with SAP Business Technology Platform. Senior Manager, Product Management, is responsible for definition and execution of the product strategy, delivery of new application releases, and successfully bringing these to market. This includes customer insights, roadmap development, product and pricing strategy, competitive positioning/differentiation, and competitive tracking of the products in the marketplace globally.

The Senior Manager, Product Management leads a team of highly skilled and collaborative product managers who are delivering on specific product components and functional areas within Content Services.

 

What The Role Offers

  • Bring deep understanding of the Content Management Technologies, staying current with buying and competitive trends, identifying, and defining requirements to fill product gaps
  • Evangelize and create buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for product vision
  • Translate product strategy into detailed prototypes and stories for agile development
  • Work with Marketing to develop product pricing and packaging strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Services and Partners to ensure feedback into product roadmap and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Engineering to review technology improvements, plan sprints and continuously deliver products of high quality
  • Evangelize product to customers, field, and industry analysts to build awareness and mindshare
  • Work closely with counterparts in the operations, engineering, support, services, and sales organizations to ensure customer success, including direct interactions with customers.

 

 

 

 

What You Need To Succeed     

  • 12+ Years of experience in product management.
  • Rich experience in leading requirements for SaaS offerings
  • Deep understanding of technical aspects of integrations
  • 2+ Years of experience building and/or managing a team of product managers.
  • Experience in defining and managing core products or content management applications, either through product management or equivalent activities.
  • Experience working with a large customer base (500+) and at an enterprise level
  • Demonstrable Product Management experience with multiple product launches under the belt
  • Experience with portfolio analysis and management of product lines with multiple products at varying stages of lifecycle
  • Understanding of agile product management and engineering practices with a willingness to roll up the sleeves and do what it takes to define and deliver “innovation that moves the needle”
  • Strong presentation, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to speak in front of large audiences, demonstrate product capabilities, and prepare compelling presentation materials
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with distributed, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create business plans, communicate verbally and visually and persuasively advocate viewpoints or strategic goals/imperatives
  • Comfortable with change and a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on development experience and knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred and MBA is an advantage.
