Sr. Software Engineer- Java FS+ReactJs

The opportunity:

At OpenText, we are looking for a motivated, highly passionate Full-stack developer for the Connect development team.

The candidate must have the experience, talent, skill set, and confidence to work with a world-class development team at the OpenText office in Cluj, Romania.

The team focus is to develop first class synchronization product to sync various data types of data between different OpenText products.

What it takes:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Java development, Spring, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-threaded apps and design patterns.
• 5+ years of experience in JS, HTML, CSS, React with Front-End environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
• Good analytical skills and understanding of Data Structures
• Through understanding of HTTP(S), Websocket, APIs in general and REST API in particular

You are Great at:

• Experience with ExtJS.js
• Experience with unit test frameworks and continuous integration systems
• Experience with APIs of several 3rd party products e.g. Jira, AzureDevops, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, ecosystem, and tools. E.g. AWS, Azure, etc.
