 Your Impact

As Senior Software Engineer at Opentext with in the Opentext Cloud Platform organization, you will get the opportunity to build and drive the Enterprise Information Management Services and SaaS applications management platform

 What The Role Offers

• Building a high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices and processes.
• Own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product.
• Participate in the development of core frameworks and components as technical leader.
• Be responsible for the technical design, code reviews & technical decisions of new solutions in the product.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features to existing products.
• Support the junior developers in team to solve critical technical problems.
• Continuously cultivate a learning and innovating culture.
• Represent Engineering team from resolving issues when working with customers, operations & support teams.

What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or above
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in enterprise software development including at least 5 years of complicated Java framework development experience.
• Hands-on expertise in application development using Java, Spring boot and Databases (like PostgreSQL)
• Experience in modern application development framework - Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, Java script.
• Must have experience in AWS cloud, Microservices, Message Queue and Cloud Native applications development & deployment.
• Good understanding of agile, scrum, CI, CD, DevOps (GitLab, Jenkins) and Secure Application development practices (SAST, DAST, DevSecOps)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and design skills. Quickly learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Should have excellent communication & comprehension skill.
