Your Impact: 

 

As a Pre-sales Solution Consultant - ITOM, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales process by leveraging your deep technical domain expertise. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Business Consultants, Professional Services Consultants, and Strategic Partners to identify and address customer business requirements. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be instrumental in demonstrating how OpenText's IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions can meet and exceed customer needs. Through compelling software demonstrations, technical architecture designs, and Proof of Values (POVs), you will help shape the future of IT operations for customers by simplifying and accelerating their IT transformation. 

 

What the Role Offers: 

 

- A dynamic and challenging environment where you will develop and deliver tailored technical demonstrations that showcase the value of OpenText's ITOM products and solutions. 

- The opportunity to lead technical portions of design sessions, create and present technical solution deliverables, and manage the execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs). 

- Interaction with Sales, Professional Services, and Partners to finalize solution offerings and initial project delivery plans. 

- The chance to represent OpenText at industry events, contributing to the company's reputation and your own professional brand. 

- Participation in Territory/Account planning meetings, identifying potential opportunities, and developing tools that assist Account Executives in relationship management. 

 

What You Need to Succeed: 

 

- Track record of experience in a presales role, selling enterprise software to business users or C-level executives, preferably within a SaaS/Cloud environment or IT Operations. 

- Proficiency in IT Operations Management offerings, with knowledge of infrastructure technologies (e.g., HPE, Dell), virtualization (i.e., VMware, Red Hat), and containerization (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes). 

- Certifications in industry-standard frameworks or best practices such as ITIL, eTOM, OSS/BSS, IT4IT, etc., with a solid understanding of the competitive landscape for IT Operations Management products. 

- Demonstrated experience in IT management, monitoring, or administration tools, and the ability to build credible business cases, ROI/TCOs, and compelling customer proposals. 

- Strong understanding of architectural principles for cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation, with certifications in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. 

- Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
