As a member of the HR Shared Service - Response Team at OpenText, you hold a pivotal role that goes beyond a job. It's an opportunity to significantly impact the lives of fellow OpenTexters. You are the primary point of contact for employees with queries on various HR-related matters.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

 

  • Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries on benefits, onboarding, payroll, and other HR areas.
  • You can answer questions accurately through various channels like phone, email, chat, or in-person.
  • Utilize resources like knowledge bases, FAQs, and HR information systems to find the correct answers.
  • Maintain accurate employee data by managing HR systems and processes.
  • Assist with programs to ensure smooth operation and a positive employee experience.
  • Endorse complex issues to the appropriate HR specialists for further handling.
  • Stay updated on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

 

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (HR, Business Administration, etc.) or 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in HR is required.
  • Experience in an HR Shared Services environment like the APJ region.
  • Knowledge of different HR practices such as Payroll and Total Rewards.
  • Strong customer service skills focused on providing excellent service to employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of HR information systems (HRIS), SAP/SuccessFactors, and other related technologies/tools.
  • Discretion and tact when handling confidential information.
