The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer - Endpoint Security with expertise in protection solutions to join our Information Security Endpoint Security team. As a Security Engineer - Endpoint Security, you will play a key role in developing and implementing security strategies to protect our organization's systems and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Your strong knowledge of endpoint security solutions and best practices will be critical in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our information assets.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer - Endpoint Security with expertise in protection solutions to join our Information Security Endpoint Security team. As a Security Engineer - Endpoint Security, you will play a key role in developing and implementing security strategies to protect our organization's systems and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Your strong knowledge of endpoint security solutions and best practices will be critical in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our information assets.

You Are Great At: 

• Participate in the design, implementation, and upkeep of endpoint security solutions.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization's endpoints.
• Timely handle service requests and provide technical support to IT teams and system owners for installing, using and upgrading endpoint security tools.
• Assist SOC teams in analyzing endpoint security events and alerts to detect potential threats or breaches.
• Interact with technology vendors to report and escalate product defects, or to represent OpenText in customer advisory boards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to continually align and improve security controls and measures.
• Oversee the upgrade processes for endpoint agent components across the IT environment.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in endpoint security technologies.

What It Takes:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing endpoint security solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, anti-malware, EDR, and host intrusion detection systems like SentinelOne Singularity or Trend Micro Deep Security.
• Expertise in configuring and managing a range of endpoint security technologies, including software firewalls, endpoint encryption, DNS protection, and data loss prevention.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards relevant to endpoint security.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional global teams.
