Lead Security Analyst

As a Lead Security Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operation support on conducting global-wide security reviews that involve Identity and Access Management and Firewall Auditing.

You will provide mentoring, training and escalation support to Security Analysts. The role will represent the GIS validations team as the technical lead and point of contact with clients, vendors and internal corporate organizations. You will also take ownership and leads on the team's projects.

You will be leading the day-to-day operations for the functional services to ensure compliance of integrated systems to industry standards and meet business requirements. You will also be coordinating with internal stakeholders in driving projects and initiatives championing the continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, tools, and metrics.



  • Accountable for designing and implementing privilege access management activities within identity and access management processes for internal personnel including provisioning, deprovisioning and with experience in Roles Based Access.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to fulfill access requests and troubleshoot issues ensuring timely completion of access workflows.
  • Accountable and responsible for administration, logistics, and monitoring involved in the provision and revocation of internal OpenText privileged user accounts in the commercial environment.
  • Lead the review the appropriateness of user access rights to ensure that only legitimate, authenticated users have access to Commercial systems.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain custom automation projects.




  • Accountable and responsible in conducting an extensive review on Commercial and Corporate firewall devices to minimize the risk of unauthorized changes, eliminate unnecessary complexity in firewall policies, and ensure constant surveillance of overly permissive rule definitions for timely risk detection and     response.
  • Lead the collaboration with stakeholders to drive the remediation of review findings and ensure continuous compliance to standards.

  • Delegating tasks to team members.
  • Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.




  • Leading the creation of metrics and reports to track the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and communicate performance measurements to the management.
  • Analyzing data and applying methodologies to process information at any given criteria.


  • Documenting procedures and processes in accordance with the requirements of the business.
  • Planning and organizing work activities to ensure timely delivery of work tasks and required periodic reports.
  • Understanding and adapting to different systems and tools that are being utilized to deliver day-to-day operations.
  • Working with various stakeholders to gather information and provide findings in support of compliance activities.
  • Demonstrating problem-solving strategies to analyze process gaps, resolve issues, and propose solutions.
  • Any Information Security Certification is a plus.



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in in an information security role
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or any related field
  • Scripting/coding experience with one or more languages experience a plus
  • Experience with IAM and firewall analysis tools is a plus
  • Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a global team environment
  • Demonstrates strong behavioral competencies such as decision making, problem solving and teamwork
  • Knowledge on best practices, emerging trends and existing threats related to Firewall and Access Management services
