The opportunity:


As we prepare to go live with a new Specialist Center under HR Evolution and related technology and processes efficiencies, the Benefits Specialist is essential to the business direction.


You are great at:


  • Drive the end-to-end process review together with process excellence and uncover gaps between current and future model. Design local/regional solutions to manage these in the new model and support the creation of local action plans to implement the solutions.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer across different parties involved in HRSS Centers in the current operating model with the help from external vendors/ partner / COEs etc.
  • Develop local Standard Operating Procedures and a sustainable HRSS delivery model to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Build in-depth system understanding and provide SME to enable effective experience.
  • Support training, knowledge management & change management activities.
  • Provide support in building templates to facilitate routine data reporting and data analysis.
  • Identification of local reporting requirements and analyze local legal, fiscal and regulatory requirements to provide necessary updates.
  • Identify interlinkages and dependencies with global platforms, policies and other functions, processes and strive to achieve standardization.
  • For non-complex vendors / countries, work with the regional Total Rewards COE in managing all aspects of the supplier relationship and vendor renewals including forecasting future cost based on the past payments to ensure upcoming vendor expenses are budgeted for each country.
  • You are data, systems and process savvy in the Compensation & Benefits domain and are excited about putting your deep expertise at work in making the transition effective. You want to propel your career further by gaining unique project experience in an international environment and would like to play a key role in building the future rewards delivery landscape and solutions. As we progress with the transformation you are comfortable with your role changing shape and scope and focus on high quality operational delivery of rewards services and continuously drive improvements to ensure great employee experience.


What it takes:


  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in managing compensation & benefits processes.
  • Worked in a complex international organization and able to navigate between matrix & diverse stakeholders. 
  • Familiar with and able to apply a variety of the field's (group benefits, pension, and insurance industry) commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. 
  • Experience of implementing or using a leading global HR system like SuccessFactors.
  • Advanced Excel skills & SAP knowledge.
  • Excellent process knowledge and ability to create processes maps and re-engineer existing process maps for efficiency.
  • Execute a solution and able to create steps for a proposed plan of action.
  • Think and work independently to research, analyze and make recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong judgement, considering all the policies and associated impacts.
  • Highly analytical approach, logical thinking, problem-solving ability with a strong eye for detail.
  • Think and work independently to research, analyze and make recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of local regulations, filing and compliance requirements including related to benefits administration and policy.
  • Knowledge of benefits contract language.
  • Work with various vendors and influence vendor’s process to comply / align with OpenText process.
  • Provide resolution to day-to-day escalations working with vendors and HRSS Centers.
  • Confidently and comfortably interact with team members and managers to explain complex resolutions.
  • Fluency in English (other key regional languages beneficial but not essential).
