Sr. Cash Applications Administrator

You are great at:

• Designated point person and accountable for applying the payments to the customer accounts, accurately and timely
• Take the lead in identifying and resolving exception transactions and prepare or assist in corrections to resolve all errors and exceptions.
• Responds to customer’s payment inquiries through prompt analysis and resolution
• Posting of daily cash receipts.
• Resolve internal and external customer account inquiries regarding cash applications.
• Place phone calls to banks, customers to determine reason for deductions when they are not stated.
• Account reconciliation
• Assume supervisory function during planned and unplanned absences of the Supervisor
• Distribute unapplied cash documentation/ items to collectors
• Identify over/underpayments and forward /distribute to appropriate collector.
• Work with Manager for daily/weekly/monthly AR Reconciliation to ensure an accurate month-end close.
• Research historical cash application activity when needed.
• Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with the team and other departments
• Provides guidance and direction to Intermediate team members to assist in providing pertinent documents and reports needed in resolving variances and answering complex inquiries
• Provide decisions/solutions to issues, routine and non-routine

 

Job Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): MS Office. SAP. Oracle. NetSuite
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in B2B collections is preferred
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, with good attention to detail and follow up.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Proficiency in SAP is required
• Preferably with analytics background, but not required
