The opportunity:


The HRSS Advisor provides support to advanced and complex issues received by HRSS team. Experienced professional; applies independent judgement to resolve dynamic issues. This position will provide inherent responsibilities to critical HR transactional processes as assigned by the supervisor, providing insights into entire Tier 1 group performance, service delivery, and achievement to optimal operational goals. The HRSS Advisor will work closely with direct stakeholders, such as HR partners, managers, and business leaders to help drive delivery execution of specific critical tasks, and ultimately facilitate to provide a best-in-class HR experience. This role will also assist leadership in the daily management and distribution of work to maximize operational efficiency.


You are great at:


  • Assigned as first-level escalation point of contact between HRSS Advisors/Associates and HRSS Tier 1 Supervisor in resolving advanced complex employee queries and issues received via HRSS various support channels.
  • Collaborate with HR Shared Services Advisors across different regions to effectively represent the team for any process improvement initiatives assigned to them.
  • Deputy lead support role in all efforts around HR Shared Services metrics, audits, spotting trends and formulating recommendations to HRSS Supervisor.
  • Continuously drive for operational excellence; create opportunities and initiatives for process improvement and better customer service/experience.
  • Continually manage end-to-end projects, assesses existing programs and processes, and help to develop new initiatives to increase efficiency, quality and reduce waste.
  • Help to plan, organize and determine workload of the team, and communicate them to management, for further evaluation and approval.
  • Provision of subject matter end-to-end HR process expertise for assigned HR critical tasks and processes with a strong focus on delivering a quality service in a timely manner.
  • Closely monitor interface processes between the core HR systems.
  • Actively identifies opportunities for helping the supervisor educate team. Assists with the onboarding and training of new Tier 1 team members. Maintains and updates training content in knowledge base tool. Mentors junior-level staff to maximize performance and potential.

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in HR operations or shared service model.
  • Taking pride in delivering an excellent customer service experience.
  • Building trust based relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively identifying and evaluating problems and determining root causes.
  • Strong Time Management & Organizational skills.
  • Highly effective communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Change oriented and able to manage conflict resolution.
  • Proactive in continuing self-development as well as the development of others.
  • Ability to set, track and measure goals.
