The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst - Operations to join our Information Security team. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and processes. You will be responsible for defining, overseeing, and optimizing our Security Operations’ service and change request processes, ensuring they are designed for maximum efficiency and effectiveness while meeting SLAs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the functional Security Tooling teams to establish and maintain accurate service inventories, which will serve as the foundation for our disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

 

You Are Great At: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments of request workflows, collaborating with application support teams to improve, standardize, or consolidate processes.
  • Develop, document and implement comprehensive processes and procedures.
  • Monitor request workflows to ensure the timely assignment of new service and change requests to subject matter experts, while identifying high-priority requests or escalations.
  • Provide monthly metrics and KPIs for service and change requests, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and recommending enhancements.
  • Collaborate with functional security teams to establish and maintain service inventories, ensuring all assets are captured and vendor information is consistently documented.
  • Support compliance activities by analyzing the coverage of security tooling against asset inventories.
  • Assist in recurring audit activities by collecting and providing requested evidence for security tooling and processes.

 

What It Takes: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in security process analysis and engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in using spreadsheet and flowchart visualization tools for data analysis and process design.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience working in cross-functional global teams.
