We are looking for an IT Software Dev Ops that is passionate about continuous improvement to join us in transforming how we develop and operate our external websites. You understand the importance of a “test and learn” culture and of continuous learning. You are driven by organizational success and developing high quality solutions.  Your work will be focused on the backend system and the pipeline that drive the content to the end user.

You’ll work with a diverse set of developers and cloud solutions in a fast-paced organization that is totally committed to customer success. This role is 70% DevOps and 30% codiing, mainly with Java.




  • Working with business partners to understand technology needs, articulating solution options & tradeoffs, and delivering a great customer experience via web solutions
  • Developing reliable, scalable, and observable software through the development lifecycle
  • Maturing CI/CD pipelines to increase the frequency of web deployments
  • Leveraging observability tools to reduce application recovery time


What It Takes: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related area of study or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in application development and/or systems administration
  • Experience with pipeline tools such as Docker, GitLab, Kubernetes,Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, Qualys, Artifactory, and New Relic
  • Experience with cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS
  • Experience with web development:
    • Web Services (RESTful and/or SOAP)
    • Java,  C#, MS .NET
    • HTML5, XML, CSS3, Servlets, JavaScript and JQuery
    • Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and/or Oracle PL-SQL
    • JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, Vue JS
    • Server-side languages such as PHP
    • Tomcat , Microsoft IIS, Apache
  • Administering Windows and Linux
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP/s, Firewalls)
  • Experience with OpenText products including TeamSite, Media Management, Alloy Integration and Identity & Access Management would be nice to have
