The Role

We have an immediate opening for an Intermediate Software Engineer with strong technical and communication skills, a passion for building high-quality software, and the ability to work well both within a team and with other teams.

You will develop new features, unit-tests and bug-fixes for software to back up and restore critical business systems in a variety of environments.

You will work closely with both developers and testers in an integrated SCRUM team to deliver shippable software that meets customer expectations and supports the business's goals.

  • Ability to prioritize work according to release schedules and capacity
  • High degree of comfort with complex technical environments
  • Having and being able to articulate/defend an informed opinion on important topics
  • Have the courage to speak up and challenge the status quo in order to make our products, our teams and our company better


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English
  • Solid object-oriented design and programming skills in C++ and STL backed by 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience writing multi-threaded, multi-process and/or cross-platform software
  • Experience with Google Test, cppunit or other unit-testing frameworks
  • Able see the big picture and understand how your team contributes to our product, our business and our customers’ success
