Technical Product Manager, BrightCloud Threat Intelligence

Come work with incredibly talented product managers and product management leaders to collaborate with experienced development teams and motivated sales colleagues to grow BrightCloud - an AI/ML-driven threat intelligence platform at Opentext’s SMBC division. As an industry leading threat intelligence platform, BrightCloud enables our OEM partners as well as Webroot’s end point security and DNS products to provide a critical layer of protection for their end customers.


The Opportunity

The Technical Product Manager will support product strategy and execution for the BrightCloud product offering. He or she will work with development, marketing and sales to ensure that product roadmaps reflect the feedback from customers. This Product Manager will work closely with the engineering teams, including joining standups, writing epics and stories as part of our Agile Scrum process, prioritizing features etc.


You Are Great At:

  • Inbound Product Management and working with Agile development teams & data scientists
  • Listening & prioritizing inputs from customers, partners, sales and other stakeholder feedback
  • Defining epics and user stories for the product, prioritizing backlog items, and sprint planning
  • Conducting regular backlog refinements and working closely with the development team to meet the product goals


What It Takes:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, AI and/or machine learning or equivalent
  • 6+ years industry experience and at least 2+ years experience as product manager or product owner
  • Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle process and methodologies
  • Experience with writing user stories, prioritizing backlogs, roadmaps



  • Domain experience in the internet security and/or threat intelligence space
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with APIs and SDKs
  • Exposure to AI/ML is a plus
