The Opportunity:

The role of Sydney Receptionist is to attend the front desk and perform general administrative services activities in the workplace.  This role reports to the Regional Facilities Manager and will assist her with operations at the OpenText office.  The main responsibility for this role is to provide smooth running of day-to-day service provision to employees, customers and visitors to the office.  The office houses approx. 110 employees in a flexible working environment of open plan, enclosed offices and meeting rooms.  The office provides space to Sales, Marketing, professional Services, Customer Support Teams and HR Functions.  A Senior Management Team and APJ VPs are based at site too.  The role is therefore very people orientated requiring communication at all levels, and the candidate will need excellent customer service skills.  The candidate will also need to be motivated to work individually, supervising suppliers and auditing the services they offer.

 

What You Will Do:

  • General Reception Service Management
  • Attend to client arrivals that come through to Reception first
  • Assist to ensure mails/deliveries to employees are placed and forwarded to recipient
  • Security badge management, including visitor passes and building passes
  • Monitoring and maintaining Consumable stock levels
  • Routinely inspect all contracted services to ensure performance measures are being maintained and all equipment are working properly
  • Notify property repair to contractors
  • Coordination with end users on event support
  • Meeting Room Management
  • Ensure employee’s workplace satisfaction and successful implementation of facilities services
  • Achieved KPI based on the agreed Individual Performance Agreement with manager

What You Will Bring: 

  • 2 Years+ experience of an Office Services role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service mindset (customer oriented)
  • Team player and able to work independently; able to cooperate and work well with others to meet targets
  • Goal-oriented and driven to resolve issues quickly
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good written and strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Flexible, confident, motivated, energetic and trustworthy
  • Passion for quality and has an eye for detail
