As a Consultant, you will assist in the design and development of solutions for OpenText Business Network Managed Services customers. Under the direction of a Project Manager, you will carry out client implementations in the hosted Managed Services environment. Extensive use of open communications standards such as FTP, HTTP, AS2, and SFTP will be required as part of the implementation activities. Integration tasks will be mainly performed using web-based tools to access the communication gateway, data translation engine, and other configurations. 




  • Identify and assist in the design of Managed Services solution to ensure it meets user requirements and specifications.
  • Configure Trading Partner relationships and Translation Engine partnerships.
  • Work with Project Management to develop functional specifications.
  • Interact with mapping development teams to create and execute Customer Acceptance Test Plans.
  • Deploy mappings on Pre-Production and Production Environments.
  • Stabilize Managed Service Solution for Turnover to Production Support.
  • Interact with clients & their trading partner communities.
  • Work on multiple projects & sometimes with tight schedules.




  • Being a quick learner, with the ability to retain a broad range of information in a rapid and complex technical environment.
  • Having proven experience with systems analysis, design, integration, and development.
  • Being hands-on, with strong knowledge of communications standards such as VANs, SFTP, AS2, and HTTP.
  • Having strong knowledge of EDI standards format e.g. EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, X12, XML, IDOCs, CSV, VDA, etc.
  • Having knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE, etc.)
  • Having excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
