The opportunity

The Senior Strategic Ecosystems Manager, Enterprise Content Services for SAP Solution, is responsible for the Go-To-Market of OpenText’s solutions related to SAP. This includes both off cloud and cloud, for content services related processes across the entire enterprise and beyond with a focus on the market leading Extended Enterprise Content Management (xECM) for SAP,  corresponding use cases, best-practices and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing suitable strategy, messaging, and positioning to support respective business and pipeline objectives in close cooperation with SAP, customers, partners and internal stakeholders. You will act as a subject matter expert and will be recognised as a thought leader and evangelist in the SAP market. 


In close collaboration with Product Management, you will influence solution innovations inside OpenText, go-to-market strategies, and external company perception.


Key activities include contribution to the strategic product direction together with Product Management, based on experience, market research and customer demand, field enabling, demand and lead generation, sales support, collaboration with strategic partners and development of SAP transformation references.


 You are great at:

  • Define and execute the go-to-market for Enterprise Content Services for OpenText SAP solutions. Measure and track business performance against the business plan.
  • Market and Business Situation - Understand the fundamentals of the enterprise content services and SAP market, whitespace opportunities, and (global) business objectives.
  • Business knowledge of SAP portfolio and related use cases.
  • Influence Product Development and Product Management – provide basic market insights to drive product capabilities and enhancements. Advocate for the customer and help to influence and drive innovation.
  • Marketing support and communication to channel partner based on value messaging, positioning, content, and respective solution/industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with Ecosystem & Marketing teams on the OpenText and SAP side to define (joint) offerings, positioning, messaging for marketing and sales programs and campaigns.
  • Development of customer facing collateral including process and solutions overviews, demo scenarios to highlight OpenText content services solutions and provide thought leadership and digital assets for SAP best-practices and solutions.
  • Demand Generation activities in support of key SAP and OpenText marketing events including planning and coordination, speaking engagements and customer and partner engagements
  • Driving customer success and secure active references for the portfolio
  • Sales Enablement - provide direct support to sales teams (i.e. deal support, messaging and value proposition, deal cycle, analysis, etc.)
  • Build and maintain an effective network of product specialists & consultants in the field including a partner network
  • Continuous benchmarking of actual performance versus business plan


What it takes:

  • Relevant experience within SAP, ECM solutions or with other related technologies
  • High business acumen around SAP processes and related use cases
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions
  • Working in a global virtual team environment
  • Understanding and experience in orchestrating different internal and external resources in a project/program
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills in English language
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA
