The Open Text Professional Services team is comprised of more than 3,000 consultants who act as trusted advisors, managing long-lasting relationships with more than 100,000 customers around the world. They are responsible for the delivery of business solutions from pre-sales to post implementation. As an Open Text Senior consultant, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you will be recognized as a subject matter expert within the Enterprise Information Management space. You will be supported with training on our solutions, the ability to receive relevant certifications and opportunities for advancement. Our experts also frequently have the opportunity to take part in international assignments.


As a Senior Consultant for OpenText software, you will be assuming the leadership of consulting and implementation of projects, advising clients on our technologies. From conducting workshops to gather technical / functional requirements to supporting your customer with the implementation of systems and optimization of our products, you will be involved in all aspects and phases of an IT project, with a unique objective: the customers’ satisfaction. And being part of a very talented team, you will be a key factor to reach this objective!


You are great at: 

Leading workshop with clients (with both IT and business representatives),

Gathering functional requirements, performing the analysis of customer’s needs, and proposing solutions

Leading functional assessment and providing value-added approaches

Writing functional specifications to describe proposed solutions

Taking responsibility for designing applications by respecting IT standards and best Practices,

Maintaining and sharing expertise through self-education, participation in forums, conferences and discussions,

Working with a strong sense of team spirit.



What it takes: 

Self-motivating, customer facing, committed and self-managing person with 5 or more years of experience in designing and supporting web-oriented applications.

A degree in computer science or a comparable education 

Knowledge of solutions based on technologies such as JAVA / .Net / Javascript / HTML5 / REST-SOAP

Understanding of basic IT concepts e.g. client server, relational databases, virtualized platforms, …

Understanding of Project Delivery Methodologies. An experience of projects based on Agile methodology could be a plus, even if it is not mandatory.

Good communication skills in French and in English are crucial for the role (reading, writing and speaking).
