IT Operations Management

The OpenText IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions support all three organisations, and thousands around the globe. IT Operations Management oversees the planning, management and supervision of the IT-related domain of an organisation as well as of the IT services it offers. This includes provisioning, compliance, capacity, performance and availability of the compute, storage, network and application resources – as well as the overall quality, efficiency and experience of their delivery. Service, Asset and Configuration Management ensure that IT services are provided according to agreed KPIs, assets are maintained and the IT landscape is known and related back to services. IT Operations never sleeps and never stands still. New demands have to be incorporated, from multi-cloud services to Agile Operations, from Generative AI to IOT, while reducing the carbon footprint and keeping cost under control.

 

The ITOM Presales Solution Consultant

Are you curious now? Then come join OpenText. We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and driven  professional for our IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions as Presales Solution Consultant for France.

 

Responsibilities

The ITOM Presales Solution Consultant’s responsibilities include:

  • Act as the trusted advisor to our customers for one of our ITOM solution areas.
  • Present this solution area to executives and technical contributors at named and strategic accounts within France in order to architect a technical solution to meet the customer's business requirements.
  • Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of our technology throughout the sales cycle, including demos, deep dives, architectural discussions and proof of concepts.
  • Closely collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve our products and marketing.

 

You will initially oversee one of the ITOM solution areas listed below:

 

Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A./M.S. in IT, Business Administration/IT, or equivalent technical training. 
  • Experience in IT Service Management, IT Asset & Configuration Management, IT Operations Control / Event Management, Network Management, IT Process Automation
  • Experience in IT4IT™ and/or ITIL 4.
  • Experience with OpenText (formerly MicroFocus) ITOM solutions a plus
  • Knowledge of general office practice and business etiquette
  • Understands how to work in a professional environment
  • Good judgment, able to handle confidential information
  • Language proficiency: French: C2; English: C1. German a plus.
  • Willingness to consistently improves skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Eager to learn and collaborate with the team, also occasionally in a wider perimeter, e.g. UK or Germany.
