OpenText’s EnCase® is a court-proven solution for finding, decrypting, collecting and preserving forensic data from wide variety of devices, while ensuring evidence integrity and seamlessly integrating investigation workflows. EnCase solves forensic security and investigatory needs for law enforcement, government agencies and enterprise customers using comprehensive forensic science, powerful evidence processing, and deep analysis.

 

The EnCase Engineering team seeks an experienced engineer who is ready to collaborate on the next generation of EnCase capabilities. We are looking for a senior engineer with extensive development and architecture experience.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development and delivery of enterprise security and forensic software, while adhering to strict timelines, coding guidelines, deliverables, and quality
  • Responsible for developing, testing and maintaining applications in accordance with specifications
  • Participate in product-related projects, as well as projects to improve processing and automation
  • Provide non-obvious solutions by researching problems while owning complex areas of the product, that require your ability to dive deep into the code

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 5 years of C/C++ development
  • Solid foundation in Windows OS
  • Demonstrated experience in developing multithreaded applications
  • Experience with performance and scalability engineering
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, to provide guidance and instruction to others
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish long-term, complex objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for clean, extensible and maintainable design and architecture
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

 

Desired skills:

  • Experience with non-Windows OS’s (Linux, macOS, etc.)
  • Experience with file-system design
  • Experience with hashing and encryption standards
