The Role

*Please note this is an 8 month contract opportunity*

We are looking for talented, driven, entrepreneurial people to execute on the OpenText strategy.

As a Software Engineer in Test on the EnCase Endpoint Security team, you will work with a range of technologies to enhance automation testing coverage of the product. You will work closely with team members to test the product.


The Task

Our Web UI is written in ReactJS. We are moving our Web UI automation from Coded UI to Selenium. Ideal candidate must be able to:

· Fully configure a brand-new Selenium instance

· Write UI automation tests and result validation using C#

· Configure automation sets to execute daily on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers


Required Skills

· Minimum 3+ years of development in C# and SQL

· Write script to automate testing of Web applications using Selenium framework with C# as the scripting language

· Experience with design and deployment of a Selenium or similar automation framework

· Experience with Relational databases

· Experience creating test harnesses or testing tools to promote automation

· Experience with continuous integration, build, and release automation using Jenkins

· Familiarity with test Automation tools and software focused on Unit and Integration tests leveraging Restful APIs

· Familiarity of development lifecycle management, working in an Agile framework

· Knowledge of software testing methods, working in an Agile team


Desired Skills

· Work with MS SQL database

· Work with ODATA, and batch scripting

· Knowledge of network technologies
